Across Sources Practice

One problem almost never lives in one source. For each client below, decide what you’d pull — a statute, a regulation, and at least one case — then reveal the authority and check your reasoning.

Nothing here is scored or saved. Name the three sources in your head first; the reveal is for confirming, not guessing. Case holdings are reworded; citations are real.

The habit underneath both: hold the client’s question — without deciding the answer in advance — and gather the statute (the right or duty), the regulation (the operating detail), and the case (how a court has actually applied it). Any one alone would have given you a partial — and possibly wrong — answer.
